This 14 kilometre-long hiking trail leads to some of the most important places in the life of Friedrich Fröbel in Bad Blankenburg and Keilhau. Fröbel hiked the trial almost daily and at Fröbel's Vantage Point decided upon the term “kindergarten” for his early childhood education concept.

Enjoy for yourself the stunning view over the entire Rinnetal and Thuringian mountains that was so meaningful for Fröbel. The route between Bad Blankenburg and Fröbel's Vantage Point features a number of signs that portray the life and achievements of this great pedagogue.

The hiking trail also leads over the Kesselberge, with its unique landscape impressions.
