The Olitätenstübchen, located in the birthplace of the great educator and founder of the Kindergarten concept, Friedrich Fröbel, provides an impressive testimony.
For the past 14 years, seminars over the use of traditional herbs and medicines have been held in the attic of this time-honoured house. Herbal fans come from far and wide to meet with Buckelapotheker (lit: hump-backed apothecaries) und Kräuterfrau (herbalists), and to learn about the region's unique remedial plants and their uses.
