Here at the Unterweißbach Adventure Swimming Pool, no one can be bored, what with an 18-hole mini-golf complex, beach volleyball court, table tennis area and open-air chess set.

The 75m long giant waterslide is a challenge for both young and old. For babies and young children, a shallow swimming pool, sandpit and playground offer plenty of entertainment. In addition, a kiosk with delicious snacks caters for refreshment.

The Mellenbach Swimming Pool, located away from the main street, is one of the only pools of its kind still in operation in the region today. The complex, built in the 1950s, is the ideal place to find peace and quiet. In opposite of the trend to build modern and expensive swimming pools, the Mellenbach Swimming Pool has retained its original form, with natural stone walls. The complex has neither a diving platform nor a giant waterslide, to ensure noise levels are kept to a minimum.

A large sunbathing lawn and ample parking allow for a stress-free visit. Particular emphasis is laid on the excellent water quality, with the pools fed with spring water. Visitors treasure the crystal-clear waters, which even in high summer, don’t smell like chlorine – quality that is particular appreciated by parents with small children.

The open-air swimming pool is located in the middle of the village, five minutes walk from the Mellenbach-Glasbach train station. It is lovingly cared for and supported by the Swimming Pool Association.

Surrounded by forested slopes and fed by crystal-clear spring water, the Rohrbach “Water Meadow” Swimming Pool promises refreshment for young and old. The complex has been built sympathetically in line with the scenery, but also contains modern facilities and changing rooms. A sunbathing lawn for the “sun-hungry”, beach-volleyball, table tennis and a basketball court for the active, and a playground for the very young are all well used during summer. And naturally, a comprehensive selection of snacks and drinks is available. Even by bad weather, the snack bar is a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.

This outdoor swimming pool is embedded in the picturesque Zochautal on the periphery of Rottenbach. Guests from near and far find rest and relaxation in this beautiful forested area.
